The Lernwerkstatt Physik is an ideas exchange for physics topics relevant to elementary school. Here, both students and teachers have the opportunity to browse through the various literature and material collections and get ideas.
The experimental material in the topic boxes or in the material cupboard is available to visitors by arrangement, e.g. to experiment in groups directly on site.

Our aim is to support students and teachers in the selection and design of scientific experiments in order to utilize their potential for understanding scientific concepts and working methods.

The learning workshop is integrated into the courses in the subject of science teaching. It serves as the most important point of contact for preparing presentations and planning teaching projects as well as for orientation with regard to scientific work. Courses in smaller groups also take place in the learning workshop.
Teacher training courses on physical science topics are also held at irregular intervals in the Lernwerkstatt (see link below). Trainee teachers in particular can contact the Lernwerkstatt for advice on lesson planning or to borrow materials.
