Examples for the Solarsystem2009 program
Below you can download various data sets that can be read in with the program Solarsystem2009.
- Solar system with all planets and the moon. The data set refers to the starting time January 1, 2010, 00:00. All locations and velocities refer to the center of gravity of our solar system. Download: Sonnensystem-01-01-2010.dat.
- Sun with Earth. The data set refers to the starting time January 1, 2010, 00:00. All locations and velocities refer to the common center of gravity of the Sun and Earth. Download: Sun-Earth.dat.
- Sun with Earth and Moon. The data set refers to the starting time January 1, 2010, 00:00. All locations and velocities refer to the common center of gravity of the Sun, Earth and Moon. Download: Sun-Earth-Moon.dat.
- Sun with Mercury. The data set refers to the starting time January 1, 1900, 00:00. All locations and velocities refer to the common center of gravity of the Sun and Mercury. The dataset can be used to study the perihelion rotation of Mercury due to relativistic effects. Download: Sun-Mercury.dat.
- Voyager I and II. The data set contains all planets, the moon and the four large moons of Jupiter and refers to the launch time January 1, 1978, 00:00. All locations and velocities are referenced to the center of gravity of our solar system. The data set can be used to study the Voyager I probe's flyby of Jupiter (swing by). Download: VoyagerI-01-01-1978.dat, Download: VoyagerII-01-01-1978.dat.
- Comet Ison: In addition to all the planets, the data set contains the comet Ison, which passed very close to the sun on 28.11.2013. The data set refers to the start time October 1, 2013. download: Comet Ison 01-10-2013.dat.
