Combine studies with a year on a biodynamic farm

The cooperation between the University of Kassel-Witzenhausen and the Landbauschule Dottenfelderhof e.V. enables students to gain a special in-depth knowledge of biodynamic agriculture.

By taking part in an annual course that has been training gardeners and farmers to become "state-approved specialists in biodynamic agriculture" since 2009, students from Witzenhausen can complete the one-year technical school course as part of their studies and gain this additional qualification. The Dottenfelderhof is a very good combination of practice and study location. The students on the annual course are fully integrated into the farm activities and experience the practical side of things up close every day. By combining the two courses, the course is six months longer overall. However, compared to the two courses individually, half a year's training time can be saved.
