Forced laborers under National Socialism

The project group "Forced Labor in Agriculture in Northern Hesse" has developed seven panels for the Hessian State Domain Frankenhausen, which form a self-explanatory tour of the domain.

In October 2012, the working group Hannah Fritsch - Jutta Haak - Frank Kessel - Dr. des. Jochen Ebert were awarded the Agricultural Heritage Prize 2012 for their joint contemporary and agricultural history research project "Historical tour on the history of forced labor (1939-1945) on the Hessian State Domain Frankenhausen".

Starting in the entrance area of the domain, the tour with its seven panels leads to historically important sites.
