Construction Informatics

Newly appointed in April 2023, the Department of Construction Informatics (Bauinformatik) offers expertise in data modeling - also known as Building Information Modeling (BIM), data validation and digital processes to drive the digital transformation of the construction industry. The increasing share of computer-aided processes in projects requires a high level of IT skills. Optimization in terms of sustainability and costs is only possible if data and models are used consistently and competently.
