Q-Pilot Software
Since the end of March 2025, the copiers have been switched from Ricoh to Triumph Adler. This means that you need to update the QPilot client. On the following pages you will find the current clients for Windows, Linux and Mac.
General requirements
Your system must either be part of the university network, be integrated into the university WLAN via Eduroam or have a VPN connection to the University of Kassel network.
For correct functioning, the following ports to the QPilot server server01.printcenter.verwaltung.uni-kassel.de (currently 141.51.132.20) must be enabled in any existing firewall from the inside (i.e. in the secure network):
- 632 TCP
- 631 TCP
- 515 TCP
- 37200 TCP
- 37201 TCP
In addition, no service may occupy TCP port 515 - under Windows the "TCP/IP print server", under Linux e.g. lp or cups.
If this is the case, deactivate them if you do not need them. If this is not possible, please see below under "Linux".
