For students/employees
The following link will guide you step by step through the activation process for your UniAccount:
https://www.uni-kassel.de/go/activate
Please have your matriculation number/staff number ready and a way to note down or save the generated user name ("uk number").
If you see the message "The user account is not suitable for activation" after entering your data, your account is already activated. Please note that if you change from student to employee status, the existing account will normally continue to be used.
It is not necessary to reactivate your account; you can continue to use the old account with the old login details. Your authorizations will be updated automatically. You can change your e-mail address using the instructions.
For other members of the university
As a guest or Lecturer (without personnel number), please use the form"Application for UniAccount" and send it signed to the IT Service Center. An activation code will then be sent to you.
