Procedure in the event of a login lock
Login lock UniAccount
The login with the UniAccount can be deactivated due to repeated incorrect logins, even if the password has not yet expired.
You may have caused these failed logins yourself, for example by automatically logging in with a saved but now outdated password. In this case, the account login will be disabled for five minutes for security reasons. Please be patient, the block will then be lifted automatically. If you have forgotten your password, please follow these instructions.

Since the end of April 2023, the procedure has been extended to other services. These are the services connected to the Active Directory (AD), such as: Login to UniKasselClient PCs and notebooks(How do I know if I have a UniKasselClient?), Outlook, network drives, Sharepoint, and logins in the VDI.
If you are repeatedly unable to log in to these services for a short time, please check whether, for example, outdated login data is stored in Outlook or connected network drives (see login information management) and update it if necessary.
If the problem persists, please contact the IT service desk.
