Research at Verbund

Our interdisciplinary research approach thrives on research cooperation at different levels:

• Cooperation within the University of Kassel with various departments in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and neighboring departments.
• Institutional research alliances in connection with the processing of third-party funded projects both in basic research (e.g. DFG) and in application-oriented research (e.g. BMWK, BMBF).
• Publication projects in international research cooperations, e.g. with colleagues in Great Britain, Portugal, Sweden and the USA.
• Support for individual cooperation between international scientists in the area of project management. To this end, Professor Timo Braun has set up a DFG-funded junior researcher network "Temporary Organizing", see http://www.temporary-organizing.com

The department is open and interested in new research collaborations within our research areas.
