Material Flow Laboratory

In the material flow laboratory of the pfp department, a transfer system of a real manufacturing system has been realized on a reduced scale. In the future, this manufacturing system will be supplemented by a drone.

With the help of the material flow laboratory, it will be possible to adequately prepare students for the necessary technical, methodological and IT knowledge as well as the working techniques to be used in the context of today's factory planning tasks in industry. At the same time, it also opens up the opportunity for them to become involved in innovative research work and to further develop the concepts there.

In addition to the use of the material flow laboratory in training, the facility offers the technical and methodological prerequisites for being innovatively active in the promising research field of "digital factory".
