Migration of the library system

The transition was successful, and starting Friday, August 28, 2026, you will be able to use all of our services again.
Important information following the transition:
- Your checked-out items have generally been transferred with their due dates intact—return dates have not changed (exceptions apply only to items for which you have received a reminder).
Orders and reservations for which you have not yet received a pickup notification were deleted during the migration; please place your order again.
What has changed?
- Login with UniAccount and password: KARLA catalog
portal (user account)
, user computers
, access to e-resources outside the university network
, and booking of individual study rooms

: University members use their existing UniAccount.
Non-university members must apply for a new username (= UniAccount) and have been notified of this via email.
- Login with PIN:
Self-service kiosks (checking out, renewing, payment, etc.) in combination with your CampusCard;
interlibrary loan account: library card number and PIN
. You must set a new PIN!

Non-university members have been notified of this via email. You can change
your PIN in your user account in the future.
