Closed stacks request

Some of the library's journals and books are located in closed stacks and can be rquested via the internal loan service. This service is free of charge.

Please note:

• You can place a maximum of ten orders per day.
• Journals from closed stacks are not for loan and can be requested for use on site (max. one year's issues per order).
• Requested journals and non-borrowable items are usually deposited for reference on the pick-up shelf of the item's location for five days. Please refer to your pick-up notification for the exact period of availability.
• Old and valuable books will be deposited in the reading room of the Special Collections at Brüder-Grimm-Platz. You will receive a notification as soon as the items are available.

At the site Brüder-Grimm-Platz (Murhardsche Bibliothek) there is an additional option to request media on site using order forms. Orders prior to 14:00 can be made available on the same day, orders past 14:00 will be available on the following working day.
