Incheon, Day 6

Booster Programming Session

We were invited to program the Booster robots—the new humanoid soccer robots that practically never tip over. Of course, we didn’t need to be asked twice, so we sat there and got to play around with the robots. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to program the simulator. But there’s supposed to be a tournament coming up soon where you submit your code, and it then competes against other programmed soccer teams—and there, you have the chance to win one of their robots. I don’t think I need to mention that we’re absolutely crazy about the robots, which is probably why we’ll be participating in the tournament.
Afterward, we set out to collect as much RoboCup promotional material as we could and managed to snag some really cool stuff.
Once we got home, we started preparing a bit for our departure.
