Seoul - Busan

Today we had to get up early again to pack up the rest of our things and then check out. After that, we took the bus to the train station with our heavy suitcases. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while there and couldn’t really move from the spot because we couldn’t get a locker for all our suitcases—they were in high demand.

Finally, we were able to take our assigned seats on the KTX and begin our journey on time. The KTX-Sancheon we rode on is one of the first high-speed trains produced in South Korea—based on the TGV. Without any strange incidents (aside from a minor run-in with a few undead fellow passengers), we arrived in Busan (only about 10 minutes late). We then took the subway to our lodging, where we prepared the now-obligatory noodles with tomato sauce (the only vegan instant noodles) in the small common area and, exhausted from the trip, collapsed into our bunk beds.
