Seoul, Day 2.1

First report from Moritz:

The day began with another extremely balanced breakfast, consisting of granola with strawberry yogurt and the only vegan instant noodles we could find within a 10-kilometer radius.

Then the time had come: We had to say goodbye to Ben D:

After a tearful farewell, Samed and I set off for a flea market. In addition to clothing of dubious origin, we were each able to snag a USB-A-to-CAN-bus adapter—all at a bargain price after some extensive haggling with the vendors. We also didn’t pass up the chance to have some toast and a much-too-sweet, ice-cold coffee (a South Korean specialty). Afterward, we had a late-afternoon meal of traditional Korean food—but vegan—at a very nice little snack bar on a side street in a different neighborhood. After visiting one of the gigantic malls, we ended the day with a stroll through the alleys of Seoul at night.
