German University Swimming Championships 2023

This year's event was hosted by the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Education, which welcomed us to the Bud Spencer pool and ensured a great competition for three days.

This year, the University of Kassel's general university sports department put together a team of five athletes, who went to the start with anticipation in their luggage and were able to deliver some very strong performances. This resulted in eight final appearances, two of which ended with a strong third place for Gavin Grenzemann. The competition was particularly high-caliber this year, as this year's DHM was a qualifying competition for the Universiade in Chengdu.

However, the numerous athletes were not only well looked after in the swimming pool, but also after the competition. The PH Schwäbisch Gmünd organization team provided us with a campsite and catering on the university grounds so that we could enjoy the evenings in good company and a great atmosphere.
