House rules

1. acceptance of the house rules
a. By entering the UNIfit of the General University Sports (AHS) of the University of Kassel (hereinafter referred to as UNIfit), the customer expressly accepts the house rules.
b. Violation of the house rules and rules of use may result in exclusion from the use of UNIfit. The obligation to pay the agreed fees remains unaffected.

2. liability
a. The AHS accepts no liability towards UNIfit members and visitors for theft or damage to property, personal injury or financial loss of any kind on the entire premises. Liability due to intent or gross negligence remains unaffected by this.
b. In principle, every stay and every action in UNIfit is at your own risk.

3. changing and storage of clothing and valuables
Please store your clothing and other items you have brought with you exclusively in the lockers provided for this purpose. We accept no liability for the loss of or damage to items or clothing you have brought with you.

4. cleanliness at UNIfit and in the Aueparkhalle
a. We ask you to always carry a towel with you during training to cover the contact surfaces on the equipment. If you do not have one with you, a towel can be borrowed for a fee of €1.00.
b. Cardio equipment must be disinfected after each use.
c. Leave the training area, changing rooms and sanitary facilities as you would like to find them.

5. instruction by specialist staff
a. Equipment instruction by specialist staff is mandatory.
b. Before starting training, we recommend additional detailed advice and instruction by our specialist staff. This is in the interests of the trainee(s) in order to prevent possible errors and injuries during training. This costs a one-off fee of 20.00 euros (START package) and can be renewed at any time with the "REFRESH" package for 15.00 euros.

6. sportswear
a. Training is only permitted in sportswear.
b. The training area may only be entered with clean sports shoes that have not previously been worn on the street. Training without shoes or with so-called flip flops and sandals is not permitted for safety and hygiene reasons.

7. operation of technical equipment
Our staff are responsible for the operation of all technical equipment, such as music and TV systems.

8. food and drinks
a. The consumption of food and drinks brought into the training and bar area is tolerated.
b. Drinks may only be consumed in the training area in unbreakable containers.

9. check-in and check-out
You can only enter UNIfit and use our equipment after successfully checking in at the counter. Please have your UNIfit membership card ready each time you visit. If your membership card is blocked or you do not have it with you, please report to the counter and let our staff check you in for the day.

10. instructions from AHS employees and UNIfit exercise instructors
All AHS employees and UNIfit exercise instructors exercise the rights of the landlord towards members and visitors. The instructions and instructions of the employees and trainers as well as written instructions posted on the training area must be strictly observed.
