Courses on academic writing and working

For international students and employees of the University of Kassel. Our courses are NOT aimed at native speakers

These courses will equip you to successfully tackle academic work and assignments in your field of study with regard to academic language. Through numerous language exercises focused on formulating and structuring your own academic texts, you will develop your personal academic work and writing style. In addition, you will have the opportunity to present your own academic work, reflect on it, and receive language guidance.

In addition to attending the course, additional time must be scheduled for self-study tasks.

• Some departments recognize these courses upon application as credit in the form of additive key competencies - please inquire with your responsible examination office before registering .
• There is no examination registration in HIS-EXA. After successfully completing the course, you will receive a graded certificate of achievement with ECTS from the Language Center, which you can use to apply for recognition as an additive key competence at your responsible examination office.
