Fit for the teaching profession?

As part of the teacher training course, there are various opportunities to help students review their own study and career goals. In particular, this takes place as part of the practical school studies and the seminar"Basic skills for the teaching profession".

Those who would like to take a self-test on this issue in addition or even before their studies can do so with the questionnaire of the Potsdam teacher study "Fit for the teaching profession" or with various online tours of the CCT ( Career Counselling for Teachers). The tours are provided with extensive background information and can be used both for a short self-test and for longer research into study and career goals.

Please note that these tests are only aids and cannot replace practical experience in an educational institution. In addition to the aforementioned practical components of the degree course, prospective students can also gain experience by completing the orientation internship before starting their studies. Anyone who has not yet completed such an internship should look for an internship at an early stage.
