Project Title:Teachers' interactive modes of action.
PhD student:Vivien Wysujack
Supervision:Prof. Dr. Natalie Fischer & Prof. Dr. Annedore Prengel
Duration:2016 to 2019
Disputation:2019
Project description:The dissertation project systematically evaluates the INTAKT studies, which are qualitative observational studies investigating teacher-student interactions with regard to the categories "recognition," "violation," and "ambivalence" in pedagogical relationships, for patterns of action of individual teachers. The planned study asks whether typical interaction profiles of teacher personalities can be found and how frequently they occur depending on teacher gender, school type, and catchment area. In addition, the continuity of teacher actions will play a central role. It will be investigated whether individual teachers show different behaviors on different days and in different learning groups.
