The professional biographically relevant, individual and collective patterns of interpretation of pedagogical professionals with regard to sexuality and power in pedagogical intergenerational relationships were examined. For this purpose, narrative interviews and group discussions with teachers and social pedagogues were conducted and analyzed. In addition, the sustainable, visible and recognizable establishment of the subject area of professional ethics with a focus on sexuality and power in research, teaching and pedagogical practice development at the University of Kassel with the aim of establishing the prevention of and reflection on sexualized boundary violations by educators towards the children and young people entrusted to them in the university education of teachers and social workers on an empirically sound basis.
