  • Diversity in Nursing Schools – A Study on Language, Culture, and Performance

Nursing education is increasingly characterized by linguistic, cultural, and performance-related heterogeneity. This project examines nursing educators’ attitudes toward heterogeneous learning groups and their significance for professional pedagogical practice.

  • Health and Health Promotion in Social Interaction Professions

This project examines mental health, job-specific stressors, and personal and social resources among teachers, nursing professionals, and other employees in social interaction professions. The goal is to identify health-related factors and derive from them starting points for health-promoting measures in professional contexts.

These research projects were developed as part of Prof. Dr. Bärbel Wesselborg’s work at Fliedner University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf and serve as a foundation for research in the department.
