What is ProMathe?
Especially at the beginning of your studies, it can happen that you feel overwhelmed by the new challenges. The field of mathematics is always a particular hurdle.
For this special task, various propaedeutic courses in mathematics have been offered at the department for students of civil and environmental engineering since winter semester 2012/2013.
Propaedeutics
Propaedeutics (Preparation lessons, from Gr. προ, pró, "before", and παιδεύω, paideuō, "to form") serves as an introduction to the language and methodology of a science. (...) Derived from this, Leistungskurse of the gymnasiale Oberstufe are understood as propaedeutics for a scientific study.
