The transition from high school to college mathematics is a major challenge. Especially students whose school graduation was some time ago often have difficulties with it.

The University of Kassel offers a mathematics pre-course especially for this purpose during the semester break before the start of studies. Participation is strongly recommended to all prospective students in the technical sciences.

What are the benefits of taking the pre-course in mathematics?

School mathematics knowledge is refreshed and basic knowledge is consolidated.
Uniform prerequisites are created for the mathematics modules of the first and second semesters of study in engineering sciences.

The four-week pre-college mathematics course begins in mid-September each year; exact dates will be announced in a timely manner.
