DeepL (machine translation)
Overview
1. basic information
DeepL is used for the automated translation of texts and documents into various languages. The one-year trial of DeepL Pro at the University of Kassel ended on June 30, 2026. Due to the university’s financial circumstances, it is unfortunately no longer possible to continue offering this free, centrally managed service in its current form.
DeepL Pro is used for the automated translation of texts and documents, as well as for the linguistic editing of texts.
The IT Service Center (ITS) of the University of Kassel is responsible for the provision, administration and support of DeepL.
