Set transmission time

You have the option of sending a message at a specific time rather than immediately. To make such a setting, please follow the instructions below. First switch to the "Options" tab and then within the tab to the "More options" group.

In the newly opened window, tick the "Delay transmission" button. Then set the desired date and time. Then add the recipient and send the email.

The e-mail is now in your "Outbox" folder until the desired transmission time.

Please note: If you are not in the Exchange environment, Outlook must be open in order to send the message.

Confidentiality settings

You have the option of giving the recipient a note about the content of your message under the "Confidentiality" setting. There you can select "Normal, Personal, Private and Confidential". The recipient will then receive a tooltip with a note on the confidentiality level you have selected above the content of your message.

Note: If you select "Private", the content of your message is protected against changes and cannot be edited by the recipients, for example when forwarded.
