eBibliotheken Hessen - onleihe and more

As a constituent part of the Kassel University Library, the Murhard Library is particularly committed to serving the citizens of Kassel and the surrounding region. In addition to providing access to literature from the University Library’s collections, the library—as a member of the “eBibliotheken Hessen” (eLibraries Hessen) consortium—is expanding its digital offerings. Alongside the e-resources primarily available to the library’s academic users, the Onleihe Hessen service now provides an offering that extends to other genres as well. Furthermore, a range of additional digital services are available to users free of charge through the eBibliotheken Hessen platform.
Onleihe Hessen
Users of the Murhard Library can access the digital collections of Onleihe Hessen free of charge. The login credentials associated with the University Library account (UniAccount (uk…) and password) are used for virtual borrowing.

Kassel University Library has been using a new library management system since 28 August 2026. Logging in using your library card number is therefore no longer valid. From now on, access to the Onleihe is via a combination of your UniAccount (uk…) and password.
Unfortunately, due to system constraints, the username displayed in the Onleihe service does not currently match your UniAccount – please do not be confused by this.
