KURT wins a rowing ergometer in Marburg

Nils Krahmer took second place in the men's 500m novice single sculls and Clara Fahrenbach scored the first points for the overall score by winning the women's race.

KURT was also able to beat the other universities in the group races. The team of Lauritz Berning, Clara Fahrenbach, Nils Krahmer and Lena Schöneweiß won the Novice mixed four relay ahead of the University of Konstanz. The eight races were particularly exciting, with the University of Kassel and the University of Konstanz battling it out for overall victory. In the end, both universities finished in first place in the Nov./Chall. mixed eight together with the host University of Marburg with a time of 01:06.9s.

Thanks to the great performances in the other competitions, KURT was able to collect a total of 74 points with three second places, two third places and other placings and thus take home the main prize, the Concept2 rowing ergometer sponsored by the rowing workshop.

This is mainly thanks to our coaches Sven Becker, Keyvan Foss, Nele Fuchs, Tobias Göbel, Simon Nowak, Alexander Sander and Florian Wilhelm as well as the training opportunities on our own ergometers in the boathouse on Auedamm and on the premises of the RVKC.
