Lügendetektion

In diesem Forschungsbereich befassen wir uns mit der Fragestellung, welche sozialen und individuellen Variablen das Erkennen von Täuschung beeinflussen. Derzeit beschäftigt sich ein Forschungsprojekt damit, wie die Aussagen von Native vs. Non-Native Speakern in ihrer Glaubwürdigkeit wahrgenommen werden.

Persönlichkeit und Täuschung

In einem weiteren Forschungsprojekt untersuchen wir, ob bestimmte Persönlichkeitsmerkmale zuverlässig die  Lügenhäufigkeit vorhersagen können. Vergangene Arbeiten haben sich bisher auf den Einfluss des Persönlichkeitsmerkmals Ehrlichkeit-Bescheidenheit und auf den Gerechte-Welt-Glauben fokussiert.

In der Vorlesung des Bachelorstudiengangs (Psychologie B.Sc.) erhalten die Studierende einen Überblick über grundlegende Methoden und Theorien der Sozialpsychologie. Darüber hinaus werden in Vertiefungsseminaren Theorien der Sozialpsychologie im Anwednungskontext diskutiert. Im Masterstudiengang (Psychologie M.Sc.) werden Themen der angewandten Sozialpsychologie wie z. B. Täuschung im Alltag und Wirtschaftsleben, Umgang mit existenzieller Bedrohung, intime Beziehungen und Konsumentenpsychologie behandelt.
