Making cycling safer and more attractive together
The Department of Cycling and Sustainable Mobility at the University of Kassel, together with other departments, researches how people move in cycling and what makes cycling safer and more pleasant. To initially categorize suitable experiments, we also record demographic details, in particular gender, year of birth and postal code. In addition, a few cycling-related information is requested, e.g. whether you use a classic bicycle or an e-bike. This allows us to contact you specifically and only for experiments that suit you.
Registration is voluntary. You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons, with effect for the future. Until then, your data will be stored for a maximum of five years after registration.
If you are invited to a specific study, you will receive further information about the respective research project. You will then decide for yourself whether you wish to participate. Where necessary, separate consent will be obtained for participation in the respective study.
