Ingmar Zalewski joined INCHER in November 2023 and works with Prof. Dr. Bettina Langfeldt and Dr. Christian Schnejiderberg in the research project "Governmental and Non-Governmental Providers in Health and Care Professions" (AGePf).

After his studies in psychology, sociology and educational sciences at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and the University of Potsdam, Ingmar Zalewski worked as a researcher on the evaluation of the situation of unaccompanied minor refugees (University of Applied Sciences Potsdam) and in the context of quality dialogs in the Hamburg youth welfare offices (Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin). As a lecturer in the field of qualitative methods, Ingmar Zalewski joined the University of Kassel in 2019, where he also conducted his doctoral research under Prof. Dr. Ulrike Tikvah Kissmann. In October 2023, he submitted his dissertation study under the title "Mirror, Play and Gift: An Ethnopsychoanalytic Study of Relationships with Unaccompanied Refugees". In the Section of Sociological Methodology of Qualitative Reconstructive Research he continues to teach qualitative methods.

Recently, Ingmar Zalewski was a visiting scholar at the Department of Philosophy "Piero Martinetti" with Prof. Dr. Giampietro Gobo at the University of Milan (Italy).
