PK1 with UKC

The classic user interface SAP GUI (Graphical User Interface) is pre-installed on the UniKasselClient (UKC).

PK1 with VDI

Users with end devices that are not managed by ITS can access the classic SAP user interface via VDI.

In exceptional cases, it is possible to use PK1 via the browser. This access is only available for a limited time.

Business trips and accounting

New user interface

Since July 1, 2025, business trips in all areas of the University of Kassel have been requested and settled via SAP FIORI. SAP FIORI is a modern online portal for employees of the University of Kassel. It works like an app, is easy to use and bundles central administrative tasks in one place.

In departments that have already switched to SAP FIORI, this procedure is mandatory: business trips and invoicing must be carried out exclusively via FIORI.

In addition, leave requests can be submitted digitally via SAP FIORI, provided that electronic time recording is not used in the respective department.
