The basic membership fee for students and employees of the University of Kassel is € 2.50 per month. Guests can purchase membership for €8.00 per month. If this day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the fee will be debited on the following working day. The fee is always debited at the beginning of the month by direct debit. The minimum term is one month and can be terminated with two weeks' notice to the end of the month.

Basic monthly fee

The Fit & Healthy Card is a prerequisite for participation in all fitness and health sports programs. It includes the basic membership of General University Sports. If you already have a basic membership, please send a short info mail to hochschulsport@uni-kassel.de to adjust your membership. It also allows you to participate in all courses of the digital course program #UniKasselVersitätStaysFit. The fee for the Fit & Healthy card is €5.00 per month for students and employees of the University of Kassel and members of the Friends of the University. Guests can purchase membership for €15.00 per month. The fee is always debited at the beginning of the month by SEPA direct debit. The minimum term is one month and can be terminated with two weeks' notice to the end of the month. Membership continues even if you do not attend a course. It is therefore necessary for you to actively cancel your membership.

Monthly fee

In the building of the Institute of Sport and Sport Science, the UNIfit offers a complete range of fitness facilities on a 350 square meter training area and thus the best conditions for effective and varied fitness training. The UNIfit is a service of the General University Sports for students and employees of the University of Kassel. However, members of the "Freunde des Kasseler Hochschulsports e.V." association, cooperation partners and guests are also welcome. You can find more information about our offer here.

UNIfit- tariffs

All our UNIfit tariffs include the basic membership in general university sports.

* Rates in guest status are only available to a limited extent. Please speak to our trainers to see if there are any places available.

Registration: Simply come directly to UNIfit and register or use our online registration. We are there for you Monday to Friday from 08:00 - 22:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 - 18:00! You will find us at Damaschkestr. 25, in the green building of the Institute of Sport and Sports Science.

UNIfit is closed on public holidays.

The General University Sports water sports card is your ticket to the University of Kassel's paddling and rowing area on the Fulda. Inaugurated in summer 2016, the university's own boathouse at Auedamm 27a in Kassel has a large rowing boat and kayak park. Of course, we offer a comprehensive range of courses to learn the basics. In addition to water sports-specific beginners' courses, advanced water sports enthusiasts will also find an "all-round carefree package" through to "racing".

The monthly water sports pass, including AHS membership, costs a low monthly fee of just EUR 16.50 for university members and members of the support association and EUR 24.00 for guests of the University of Kassel (including basic membership of general university sports). After a minimum term of one month, the validity of the water sports card is extended by a further month. If you already have a basic membership, please send a short e-mail to hochschulsport@uni-kassel.de to adjust your membership.

The annual water sports card has a minimum term of 12 months. It costs EUR 12.50 per month for university members and members of the Friends of the University (also including the basic membership for general university sports). Guests can purchase the annual water sports card for EUR 20.00 per month. At the end of the minimum term of 12 months, the validity of the water sports card is extended by a further month in each case.

The following applies to all water sports activities:

• The instructions of the instructors must always be followed
• The ability to swim in open waters must be guaranteed at all times
• The right-hand rule applies on the water

Please note that there may be restrictions in course operations during the winter months due to weather conditions. In these cases, we will of course try to offer alternative - but still water sports-specific - courses for water sports enthusiasts.

Registration is of course possible online or directly at the AHS office.

You can register via our homepage from the dates listed below. Personal registration is possible during the opening hours of the office (Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm). After successful registration, each participant will receive an authorization card. This and, if applicable, the matriculation card must always be brought to the events.
