New Building for Physics and Nanostructure Science at Holländischer Platz

"This is 'a very, very good sign,'" says University President Prof. Dr. Ute Clement: Today (July 27), the HNA is publishing an interview with Science Minister Timon Gremmels. In it, the minister makes a firm commitment: Despite a difficult budget situation, Hesse is providing the initial funding of nearly 70 million euros for the first phase of construction for the natural sciences. The university has been waiting a long time for this. Preparations for construction are already underway. The new building for physics and nanostructure science at Holländischer Platz will provide:

• Shorter distances for students
• Even better opportunities for interdisciplinary research
• State-of-the-art laboratories in the vicinity of the Science Park startup center
