The main staff council at the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts is also elected.

On Tuesday, May 14, 2024

• Holländischer Platz location: Moritzstraße 18 (1st floor Campus Center), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Heinrich-Plett-Straße location: AVZ II, Room 0281, from 12-15 noon
• Menzelstraße location: Foyer in front of the Nordbau lecture hall, from 12-15 hrs
• Witzenhausen site: Steinstraße 19, drawing room, from 12-15 hrs
• Wilhelmshöher Allee site: Säulenhalle, Entrance C, from 12-15 hrs

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024

• Location Holländischer Platz: Moritzstraße 18 (1st floor Campus Center), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Heinrich-Plett-Straße location: AVZ II, room 0281, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Menzelstraße location: Foyer in front of the Nordbau lecture hall, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Witzenhausen site, Steinstraße 19, drawing room, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Wilhelmshöher Allee location: Säulenhalle, Entrance C, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Votes are generally cast in the polling station at the location where the voter is employed. No polling station will be set up at the Damaschkestraße location; voting will take place at the Menzelstraße location. Voters at the Brüder-Grimm-Platz location will vote at the Holländischer Platz location. Voters at the Frankenhausen state domain site will vote at the Witzenhausen site. Voters at the Rudolf-Schwander-Straße location vote at the Holländischer Platz location.

When casting a vote at the ballot box, an official photo ID must be presented if the voter is not personally known to the electoral board or the poll workers.

Persons entitled to vote who are unable to cast their vote in person at the time of the election will, upon request, receive the ballot proposals, the ballot paper, the ballot envelope, a pre-printed declaration to be submitted by the voter in which the voter affirms to the electoral board that they have personally marked the ballot paper or, if required under the conditions of Section 18 para. 3 HPVGWO, a larger return envelope bearing the address of the electoral board and the name and address of the person entitled to vote as well as the note "Postal voting" and an information sheet on the method of postal voting.

The application must be sent informally by email to wahlamt[at]uni-kassel[dot]de by 07.05.2024. The application must include the surname, first name, date of birth, location and address to which the postal voting documents are to be sent. The postal voting documents must be received by the election committee by the end of voting on 15.05.2024, 15:00. Envelopes received late cannot be considered.
