The Green Office would like to involve students and staff in the participatory change process for sustainable development at the University of Kassel. An online survey, which is part of the monitoring process to establish the Green Office's sustainability strategy, will be used to gather opinions on the topic of sustainable development at the university.

The online survey is already the second survey; the first survey took place in April 2023 and the results can be viewed here. The aim is to analyze how the current sustainability efforts and participation formats of the Green Office are perceived and what expectations exist in this regard among students and staff at the University of Kassel. The link to the survey will be sent centrally via the university's e-mail distribution list and will be available until June 30, 2024.

The Green Office has been in existence for almost two years now and is dedicated to the sustainable development of operational processes and drives this forward as a cross-departmental and cross-institutional task. The team bases its work on guidelines for sustainable development at the university. Key content relates to improving environmental performance and steering measures that help to promote commitment within the university in terms of a sustainable organizational culture. It is also about increasing transparency, improving communication and participation in the development process.
