Installation and automatic backup
In order to be able to use the backup and archive system ISP (IBM Storage Protect), a prior application is necessary (see Applying for backup service: Instructions and notes).
A prerequisite for the subsequent use of the backup service is that the computer is connected to the university's data network.
Installing the backup software
After you have received authorization to use the backup service, it is necessary to install and set up client software (IBM Storage Protect) on your computer. You will find the instructions for the respective operating system linked below:
