Public university conference "Security, Science, Responsibility - How up-to-date is the civil clause?" (December 8, 2025)

On 8 December 2025, the Leibniz Institute for Peace and Conflict Research (PRIF) is organizing a conference open to the university under the title

"Security, Science, Responsibility - How up-to-date is the civil clause?"

Time: December 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location: darmstadtium,Schlossgraben 1, 64283 Darmstadt

As part of this event, representatives of all status groups of the Hessian university are invited to a joint discussion and reflection process on the social role and responsibility of universities and research institutions in times of changing security policy requirements.

In addition to a panel and a podium discussion, the conference will feature interactive workshops that offer the opportunity to exchange ideas with university members from all over Hessen.

All members of Hessian universities are cordially invited - make a note of the date now.
