"Science meets Media" know-how now in the Digital Reader

The state project "Science meets Media" has been completed - and the collected know-how is now available internally in the Digital Reader. The reader bundles handouts, checklists and examples for further training in the field of science communication for researchers at universities.

In around three years, more than 150 researchers from five Hessian universities have taken part in the program and chosen from 80 workshops: from classic media training in front of the camera to formats such as science slams and current social media trends. These experiences, tips & tricks, how-tos and organizational concepts are now available in a compact format - practical, modular and directly applicable.

What you can expect:

  • Target groups in focus: ECR, new recruits, established employees, teams - each with concrete derivations for program planning.
  • Sample roadmap for needs assessment: quickly to a tailor-made range of offers.
  • Budget paths & formats: from e-learning to premium workshops.
  • Core curriculum & elective shelf: understanding media, strategy, interview training, social media - plus specialized modules.
  • Quality assurance & evaluation as well as legal information for smooth operation.
