Information security training courses are not IQ tests. Anyone can fall victim to an attack - regardless of prior knowledge or technical affinity. All it takes is a moment of carelessness. This is precisely why awareness-raising measures are so important: they help you to recognize typical dangers, react correctly and actively minimize risks in everyday life. Our training courses will not turn you into an IT expert - but they will give you the tools you need to act safely in critical situations.

We currently offer all employees and students at the University of Kassel various entertaining Moodle learning courses to help you expand your knowledge of the latest security concepts and practices. In addition, you will find further e-learning courses on various information security topics in the “Onleihe VerbundHessen” of the Continuing Education and Training department.

The online training course on the basics of information security offers you a quick introduction to the most important topics of digital self-defense. You will learn to recognize and ward off most dangers in the shortest possible time.
