Group mailbox Applemail

Please navigate to the system settings and open the "Internet Accounts" option.

Click on "Mail account" after you have selected "Add another account".

First enter your name and the e-mail address of your group mailbox <smx012345@uni-kassel.de> in the corresponding fields. Then enter your password for your account and click on "Log in".

In the next step, you will be asked to enter your user name. First enter your account name under the domain @uni-kassel.de, followed by a slash and then the mailbox name(not the clear name mail address!), followed by the domain <uk012345@uni-kassel.de/smx012345@uni-kassel.de>.

If the message "Account name/password could not be verified" appears, please click on "Continue".

Select "Mail" and confirm the process by clicking on "Done".

Close the window and go to "Settings" in the Mail app. Then select "Account". Enter your user name only on the outgoing server (only your own account).

Restart the Applemail application and go to "Mail" again. Open the "Settings" and select "Accounts". Then go to the "Mailbox behavior" tab.
