Discussion event "Climate protection and labor law"

The doctoral college "JUST - Just and Sustainable Transformation", funded by the Hans Böckler Foundation, invites you to a discussion event on the topic of "Climate Protection and Labor Law" (04.12.2023, 18:30, Philipp- Scheidemann-Haus, Room 107). Wolfgang Däubler will present his current study on climate protection and labor law, the results of which will be discussed with Carsten Büchling (Chairman of the Works Council at VW Kassel) and others. The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Isabell Hensel (University of Kassel). The aim is to explore the possibilities and limits currently set by labor law to take urgent action against the climate catastrophe, what practical examples already exist and what scope for action could still be used by works councils, workforces, trade unions and other actors such as social movements.
