Dear IFBC student,
we are happy to welcome you in the joint master program International Food Business and Consumer Studies. We are looking forward to meet you. An intensive introduction period prior to study start will give you the best possible start into your studies.

In the winter semester 2026/27 the introductory events for your respective degree program will take place between Monday, 12.10.26 and Wednesday, 14.10.26. Participation in the introductory events is highly recommended. 

The regular courses begin on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The course period ends on February 12, 2027.

Lecture-free period over Christmas and New Year: Saturday 19 December 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027 inclusive.

Dear IFBC students,
we are happy to welcome you in the joint master program International Food Business and Consumer Studies offered by the Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences at University of Kassel and Fulda University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Nutritional, Food and Consumer Sciences. We are looking forward to meeting you soon. Prior to study start, there will be an intensive introduction to your master's program to give you the best possible start into your studies starting October 2025 at Witzenhausen campus.

In June/July we will provide you with more and detailed information about the introduction period and the study organisation.
