Study programs at Faculty 02 Humanities and Cultural Studies

NEW The special education teacher training courses with a focus on inclusion (L5)

Department (FB 02) Humanities and Cultural Studies - Profile

We unite what traditionally belongs together at a university: the philologies, the theologies and philosophy. They all relate to language and text, which we study from a historical perspective. In doing so, we ask questions about the power they develop in the present and with which they shape society. Many of our students later teach in schools. There they can bring the potential of the texts to bear again and thus contribute to the shaping of the community.
