We regularly receive interesting links and tips about offers that could be interesting for students. Since not everything fits into the mailing list, we collect them here - so check back regularly!

Useful info and interesting facts

  • Master list of the PsyFaKo: The master list of the Psychology Student Council (Bundesverband der Psychologie-Fachschaften-Konferenz ) lists all psychology masters at German universities, clearly arranged and filterable with a lot of additional info like selection criteria, past NCs, field reports etc. Especially helpful are also the "Frequently Asked Questions", which get a lot of practical tips and info about the master's application.
  • The Young Psychotherapists of the German Psychotherapists Association (DPtV) as well as the students in the BDP (professional association of German psychologists) also represent the interests of psychology students and future psychologists, among other things with regular information events, e.g. on the new continuing education program.

Survey methods and tools for studies

  • Murmuras - Free app for students for mobile collection of questionnaires and behavioral data such as app usage (Ambulatory Assessment). Murmuras is a spin-off of the University of Bonn.

After studying

  • The German Academy of Psychologya subsidiary of the Professional Association of German Psychologists (BDP), offers a wide range of events and continuing education courses. In the seminar program all offers are listed compactly.

Away from studying

  • Psycholympia: Every summer, psych students from all over Germany come together for four days to compete in disciplines such as water balloon volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, or beer crate toss. Also always wanted: Orga-Helfer*innen.
  • Studenten bilden Schüler e.V..The association provides voluntary students who want to give private lessons to children from low-income and educationally disadvantaged families. The initiative is always looking for committed students who would like to join in and provide tutoring.
  • Campus bag: The campus bag contains various products and is free of charge except for shipping.
