No special sacrifice by civil servants

The Hessian state government recently presented its draft budget for 2025. Among other things, it wants to postpone the salary increase agreed for August 2025 until December and - with the exception of schools, the police and the judiciary - not fill one in three vacant positions. This is a breach of trust towards those who work with commitment and competence for this society every day!

We say to this: No special sacrifice for civil servants - fair pay now! Don't leave education and the public service out in the cold!

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 4.30 pm kick-off at the Kulturbahnhof Kassel. We will start a demonstration with a final rally at 5.30 pm at the town hall.

Speakers will be:

• Ruth Müller (Chairwoman of the Staff Council of the Internal Administration of the City of Kassel for ver.di)
• Stefan Rüppel (District Chairman of the GdP North Hesse and Deputy State Chairman)
• One representative of IG BAU
• Carsten Büchling (Chairman of the Works Council of VW Kassel in Baunatal)
