The network GenderConsulting in Research Networks is an association of gender equality actors who are involved in gender consulting at central university level or at faculty/department level. This includes counselling on gender and diversity aspects when applying for research projects and the development and implementation of (intersectional) equal opportunities measures for research networks at universities.
This network is concerned with:
- Exchange of experience
- Formulating recommendations for measures for gender consulting at universities.
- Developing strategies for quality assurance of equal opportunities measures in research projects and networks.
- Continuous cooperation with the DFG and exchange with other relevant third-party funding bodies (e.g. EU, BMBF), insofar as the members of the GenderConsulting network provide advice on their funding programmes.
- Securing, updating and sharing knowledge across universities.
- Exchange with other relevant networks and associations.
