With the annual Female Student Travel Award, TU Darmstadt honours particularly good achievements of female students in computer science, electrical engineering and information technology (including all degree programs with significant computer science/electrical engineering/information technology components such as cognitive science, computational engineering, business informatics, mechatronics, medical technology). The award winners can attend a conference focusing on the networking of female researchers in computer science and engineering and use the opportunity to get in touch with other talented women in science and industry during these events. Mentors from the networks prepare and follow up on the conference visit, and the award winners write a report.
