Objective

Creating networking and exchange as well as visibility for topics relevant to gender equality

Brief description

The Women's Assembly takes place annually at the University of Kassel on International Women's Day, March 8th, with changing topics. The event is alternately organized by the Equality Office and the Staff Council. In 2024, the Women's Assembly was held under the theme "Gender Pay Gap"; in previous years, topics such as mobile work, digitalization and work-life balance have been adressed. The events include workshops and readings, presentations and activities such as city tours (for example as part of the Documenta).
