Information on maternity protection for students

Since January 1, 2018, the Maternity Protection Act has also applied to students if the place, time or course of an educational event is mandatory or if they are required to complete an internship as part of their university education. Pregnant and breastfeeding students must therefore be granted maternity protection without having to apply. The University of Kassel offers legal information and advice on this topic.
